Overview
Emily recently moved into a new office. The new office would be a satellite office to her current company that is based in New York City. She was given a budget of $3500.00. Her new office is currently an empty shell and she only has the basic office furniture. A desk, chair and some drawers.

Space Requirements
Emily needs the space to look professional and clean. She may not have clients in often, but she will have to entertain her boss and other work colleagues. She will also need the space to be versatile and grow with the company as she hires new employees. She has three rooms to work with. One will be her office, one is her assistants office and the other will be a common area. She needs the common area to incorporate a kitchen area, eating area, space for interns/employees to work as she grows. She also wants a television to play CNN throughout the day since she is a PR consultant.

Emily wants her office to be minimal and cozy. She likes the idea of having a lounge chair for optional seating. She will also need some storage space for books, and files.

Emily is not too concerned about her assistants office at this time. Since her assistant has all the items she needs.

Solution
The common area was furnished with removable cabinets and drawers for ample storage space. A desk was incorporated for an additional employee. A kitchen and eating area were added. Space was also made for a television.

Emily's office was able to include two lounge chairs, a desk and a shelving unit to store books and files.
